Demonstration of the general principles of designing and applying a stage makeup for an Animal, specifically embodied in a tabby cat makeup based on Tara’s late cat, Shoelace. Tabby cat markings are also discussed as being similar to stage makeup styles such as Kabuki Kumadori and Age Makeup in having efficacy for making facial expressions “read” at greater distance than a plain face.
