What are some ways you see creativity and innovation intertwining? How do you keep pace with the innovation dance?

In dance, creativity has many faces, although perceptions of it tend to be focused on visible movement outcomes, including those from creative movement exercises, improvisation, or more formal performance, whether in terms of finished choreography, choice of movement, or expression.

Hence in this episode, we have Mr.Sagithya Varma, the Founder of @dreamcatchersstudio985 who will be sharing with us his personal experience and how he incorporate innovation and creativity in choreographing his dance. Did I mention he choreographs at that instantaneous moment? Personal experience, especially during formative years, plays a major role in determining artistic beliefs, values, and understandings. Although creativity is always bound by time and place, it is very much a personal construct dependent on personal knowledge, history, prejudices, and values. It is often conceptualized differently in different dance forms, where constraints are imposed implicitly through history and tradition. So Mr. Sagithya Varma and his team express their creativity through flexibility, imagination, problem solving, and risk taking. His dance classes traditionally focuses mastering steps, memorizing combinations of movement, and replicating positions and forms. However, with a few simple tools, he foster creativity while developing skilled dancers. By modeling creative thinking, he encourages creativity in his students.
